We Got a Gong!

Not sure who our 'Mystery Guest' was who judged the 2009 Lancashire & Blackpool Tourism Award but they must have had a great stay because we won the Guest Accommodation of the Year!

The Award Ceremony was on Wednesday 10th June at Ribbey Hall, a way bigger event than I had anticipated, or dressed for! I'll post a photo of me getting the gong just as soon as I manage to photoshop my double chin out of the picture.

Next stage is the regional awards where we'll be up against the winners from Cumbria, Liverpool, Manchester & Cheshire. It's at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool in September so for the next time I know to wear a tux!
