 Thanks to Angela, Editor of BBC Homes and Antiques for making us the first place in their new feature 'Instant Weekend.' It's in June's issue of the magazine. Angela loved the GB Antique Centre next door where you can easily lose a few hours browsing the 140 dealers stalls. Bancroft's in Kirkby Lonsdale also gets a mention as it's where much of my furniture came from. Amanda's shop is full of well restored and reasonably priced pieces. I've banned myself from visiting as it's just too tempting to find something to buy for the house.
