Brilliant people, fabulous products. Some are award winners but all are passionate about what they do.

Eggs are from Libby, Lesley and the girls

Patrick at More Artisan Bakery in Staveley does more than just bake our bread. He also makes award winning brownies and enormous meringues.

Another Staveley company, Organico, provides our wine. Not only does it taste great it's also an organic & biodynamic tipple. Our house wine is delivered in a giant wine box, decanted into a cask and then bottled locally using light weight recycled bottles. Environmentally friendly with the added benefit of no hangover!

Our butcher Stuart Smith in Milnthorpe  dry cures his own bacon and makes his own sausages; they taste great but the shape's a bit hit and miss. We particularly love the rose veal from Heaves Farm.

Jams, chutneys and sauces are all from the Hawkshead Relish Company.

Port of Lancaster Smokehouse are another local food hero. They provide our kippers, smoked salmon and whatever else takes my fancy at Lancaster's Saturday food market.

Teas and coffees are from Farrers of Kendal, they've been roasting since 1819 so have a pretty good idea about how to make the best brew.
